600D gem-set pink gold skeleton movement

The 600D gem-set skeleton movement is an ultra-thin hand-wound mechanical movement, adorned with the world's thinnest flying tourbillon carriage measuring just 3.5mm thick. The visual effect produced by the flying tourbillon is accentuated by the presence of the stylised "P" of Piaget. The asymmetry of the design required meticulous adjustments in order to respect the balance of the whole. Like the 600S skeleton movement, its mainplate, fashioned in pink gold, is drawn, thus revealing all the subtlety and complexity of its inner workings. Its exceptional design is extremely refined with a guilloché sunburst motif shining out from the centre of the carriage, reminiscent of the sun's rays and the divisions of time.
